Madeleines

This image is a food layout of one of my favorite desserts called Madeleines. They are primarily a type of cookie, however, they have somewhat of a cake texture inside and are usually sprinkled with icing sugar. In this picture we have the beauty shot of the cookies, plus three detail shots on the side. These shots are the inside of a Madeleine, an icing sugar shaker tipped over and some beating/whisking in process of the batter. I definitely enjoyed shooting this piece and I hope you enjoy it too. I also recommend trying these treats if you have never done so before. They are light and fluffy and the perfect compliment to a cup of tea. 

Environmental Portrait

This image is one of my favorites. I spent a lot of time and effort gathering props and costuming to create the perfect scene. It is based off of the board game Candy Land and the character portrayed is Princess Lolli. It was terrific fun, even in the windy brisk weather.
